Grant W Walton

Grant is a Human Geographer, who is interested in issues related to corruption, development, civil society and natural resources. Grant's work has been featured in the Journal of Development Studies; Asia Pacific Viewpoint; Crime, Law and Social Change; Public Administration and Development; and Society and Natural Resources. His writing also appears in print and electronic media across the Pacific. Between 2009 and 2011 Grant worked as a lecturer for the University of Melbourne. Previous to this he worked for non-government organisations and international think tanks. He has conducted research in Papua New Guinea, Liberia, Australia and Afghanistan. Grant is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University’s Development Policy Centre, which is situated in ‘sunny’ Canberra, Australia.
