Until now, Menopause has never been the subject of geographical enquiry. It remains stigmatised for those who experience it first hand: women. It lingers in a dark closet of ignorance, as does Andropause (the male equivalent - YES, there is one!). We are putting out a call to bring menopause out of the shadows, to shed light on the myriad of ways that women (and men) experience this seriously under-researched life stage.
